Standards Registry, Vector PDF Job Cards & Trade Workflow Rails
Deployed the public Standards Registry mapping NFPA 70 (NEC 2023), IPC 2024, AWS D1.1:2020, and OSHA standards with direct calculator links. Released client-side vector PDF generation using jsPDF with native mobile WebShare API support, and added WorkflowPipelineBar progress rails for multi-step trade workflows.
Technical Modifications:
- Added public Standards Registry documenting governing standards, code sections, and documented local municipal amendments.
- Integrated JobCardExportButton for client-side vector PDF generation with mobile Web Share sheet and direct download fallback.
- Added Trade Field Dock featuring high-contrast sunlight mode, tape-measure fractional quick-reference, and network status display.
- Implemented offline service worker caching for visited trade calculator routes.
- Added WorkflowPipelineBar interactive progress rail across residential electrical service, HVAC, plumbing, and structural welding multi-step workflows.
Motor Breaker Sizing & Small Conductor Rule Precision
Verified inverse-time breaker multipliers against NEC Table 430.52 (250% limit) and locked Small Conductor Rule limits under NEC 240.4(D) with automated golden test vectors.
Technical Modifications:
- Enforced 75°C lug weakpoint constraints on THHN copper conductor sizing.
- Added regression test vectors in trade test suite for motor branch circuit short-circuit protection.
- Updated conductor ampacity tables to align with NEC 2023 Table 310.16.
International Plumbing Code 2024 Alignment
Updated roof leader drainage and gas pipe sizing tables to align with 2024 International Plumbing Code (IPC) and 2024 International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC).
Technical Modifications:
- Updated roof-drain-scupper leader sizing to IPC Table 1106.2.
- Verified low-pressure gas line sizing against IFGC Table 402.4(1) and Table 402.4(28).
- Aligned pipe friction and head loss models with Hazen-Williams published hydraulic formulas.
AWS D1.1 Arc Heat Input & Deposition Calculations
Standardized structural arc heat input calculations conforming to AWS D1.1 Clause 5 and ASME Section IX QW-409.1 with process-specific thermal efficiency factors.
Technical Modifications:
- Implemented thermal efficiency multipliers: SMAW (0.80), GMAW (0.80), GTAW (0.60), SAW (1.00).
- Added carbon equivalent weldability formula (CE IIW and Dearden & O'Neill) for preheat requirement estimation.
